Instead of the usual blog post I’m simply going to give the readers and listeners of our blog and podcast a rundown of some happening events in the area.

Voddie Baucham is visiting Moscow, ID at the end of this week. Collegiate Reformed Fellowship is hosting Voddie on the University of Idaho campus. The title of Voddie’s talk is “Why Gay is Not the New Black.” Interesting exchanges have already appeared on the event’s Facebook Page. The event is Thursday January 26th, 2017 7:30-9PM at the SUB Ballroom in the Bruce Pitman center on the UI campus. Address is 709 Deakin Ave, Moscow, ID 83843.

Second, there will also be a post-event discussion in the Bruce Pitman Center in Moscow ID from 10:30 AM – Noon on Friday January 27th, 2017. Hosted by Aaron Ventura.

Third, Voddie will be speaking at New Saint Andrew’s college’s end of week Disputatio. CrossPolitic’s Gabe Rench, Toby Sumpter, and David Shannon are hosting the discussion with Voddie Baucham and Douglas Wilson. Disputatio will be held at the Nuart Theater in downtown Moscow, ID at 3 PM Friday January 27th. This week it is open to the public.

Fourth, Trinity Church in Moscow ID is hosting Voddie for the Epiphany lectures. The first lecture is Friday evening, January 27th, at 7pm, followed by a Q&A session. On Saturday, January 28th, starting at 9am, there will be three talks also accompanied by a Q&A session.

Fifth, you might want to check some of Voddie’s blog posts on race, as that is a topic he will be discussing this week.
