Dr. Fauci is in Hot Water

Let’s begin with an exchange between Sen. Rand Paul and Dr. Fauci from around May 11.

Just so you know what’s going on, “gain of function” according to the National Institute of Health is “experimentation that aims or is expected to (and/or, perhaps, actually does) increase the transmissibility and/or virulence of pathogens. Such research, when conducted by responsible scientists, usually aims to improve understanding of disease causing agents, their interaction with human hosts, and/or their potential to cause pandemics.

So here’s Rand Paul sparring with Dr. Fauci last month:

And now…

As part of a FOIA request from BuzzFeed, more than 3,000 emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s inbox were published online late Tuesday night.

These emails bring many interesting revelations to light. For example, zoologist Peter Daszak once thanked Fauci for pushing back on the theory that the coronavirus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). At the time, Daszak was especially interested in killing the story since his non-profit had previously steered U.S. funding to the WIV.

“I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Daszak wrote to Fauci on April 19, 2020.

“From my perspective, your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’s origins,” Daszak goes on.

Daszak was correct in that Fauci’s public rejection of the lab-leak theory did dispel the conversation. Once Fauci and like-minded politicians called the theory a conspiracy promulgated by then-president Donald Trump, the story was banned from social media and anyone who dared to bring it up was dismissed as a dangerous conspirator who probably supports QAnon.

However, Daszak was also wrong because the idea that the SARS-CoV-2 originated from the WIV is not a myth. Mounting evidence suggests the virus did not originate from a Chinese wet market, the story we were told to believe for over a year.

Between 2014 and 2019, EcoHealth Alliance, Daszak’s organization, funneled $3.4 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to the WIV to study coronaviruses in bats. The five-year grant was renewed for a total of $3.7 million in 2019, but then canceled in April 2020 when Donald Trump said the research didn’t align with the NIH’s “program goals and agency priorities.”

What was that money actually used for? Fauci says that funding did not go to what is known as “gain of function” research, which takes a virus that could infect humans and makes it more transmissible and/or pathogenic for humans.

Last week, the WSJ revealed that three researchers from the WIV were hospitalized in November 2019 with symptoms mirroring COVID-19. Remember: Beijing says the first confirmed case of COVID-19 came less than a month later, on Dec. 8, 2019.

Fauci’s emails also show NIH scientists stating that the SARS-CoV-2 genome likely did not evolve naturally. These emails are dated February 2020.

On April 17, 2020, Fauci told a reporter who asked him to address concerns that the coronavirus could have leaked from a lab:

“There was a study recently…where a group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences there and the sequences in bats as they evolve,” Fauci said. “The mutations that it took to get to the point where it is now is totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human.”

Here’s what was privately said two months before:

Wow, NIH scientists were emailing back in February of 2020, February!, that the covid virus genome didn’t look like it could have arisen naturally. Yet Fauci said the opposite publicly. Of course. It’s way past time for Fauci to be gone and he needs to be investigated himself.

This, friends, is what you call a smoking gun. Not so much for Saint Fauci – just the entire community of virologists and scientists who insisted for a year that the China-GOF-2019 virus couldn’t possibly have come out of a lab, nosiree Bob.

Then last month, Fauci finally admitted he was “not convinced” that the coronavirus developed naturally. That was a major shift from his year-long insistence that it’s “highly likely” that the origin was natural…

If the lab-leak theory is proven correct — which would be difficult to do without China’s cooperation — the probability is high that China knew, covered it up, refused to allow its doctors to notify the rest of the world, and undercounted deaths to save face. Meaning, China would be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people across the world.

Within a week after China released the genomic sequencing, the mRNA sequencing for the COVID vaccine was completed. Had China been honest from the start, in November 2019, the vaccine would’ve been released sooner. Ben Shapiro predicts the vaccine could’ve then been accessible in August, which would have saved many of the lives impacted by the virus US last fall.

The threat from the editor of the Global Times comes as President Biden ordered the US intelligence community to take another look at whether the coronavirus leaked from a Chinese lab.

The media mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist government touted the country’s “urgent” goal to expand its arsenal of long-range nuclear missiles in anticipation of an “intense showdown” with the US.

But that’s not all:

We’ve said before that people who can’t tell the difference between babies and clumps of tissue cannot be trusted for much. And here’s a case and point. Gross moral blindness cannot be kept in a water-tight compartment. And this is why it matters whether your elders/pastors are biblically qualified.

MLB Hit with $100 Million Lawsuit for Moving All-Star Game out of Atlanta

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2021/06/02/mlb-slapped-with-100m-lawsuit-over-pulling-allstar-game-from-atlanta-n2590344?fbclid=IwAR0NwSIYGIF4fpCr8Sb-fBLF3Rfn1og-rRl09CXWO6kj1yRKfv3O8Dk0KT4

The MLB announced in April that it was moving the all-star game out of Atlanta in protest over the state’s election law. One tourism official said the “estimated lost economic impact” from the relocation will have a more than $100 million impact on the state. And the Jobs Creators Network doesn’t want to let the organization get away with it.

A small business advocacy organization filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Major League Baseball, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, the Major League Baseball Players Association and executive director Tony Clark.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York by the Job Creators Network.

The suit demands the Major League Baseball All-Star Game return to Atlanta immediately or the “defendants pay $100 million in damages to local and state small businesses.” (ABC 6)

“MLB robbed the small businesses of Atlanta – many of them minority-owned – of $100 million, we want the game back where it belongs,” said Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network. “This was a knee-jerk, hypocritical and illegal reaction to misinformation about Georgia’s new voting law which includes Voter-ID. Major League Baseball itself requests ID at will-call ticket windows at Yankee Stadium in New York, Busch Stadium in St. Louis and at ballparks all across the country.”

As a result of the relocation, JCN gave the following figures:

• More than 8000 hotel reservations were canceled.
• Revenues from ticket sales, concessions and events at Truist Park – including the Futures Game and Home Run Derby Contest – by the more than 41,000 fans expected, were lost.
• According to Cobb County Chief Financial Officer William Volckmann, the county would receive a “robust return” on its roughly $2 million investment to host the events. Previous MLB All-Star events have generated between $37 million and $190 million for their host communities.
• Atlanta is 51% African-American, Denver is 9% African-American. U.S. Census data indicates there are roughly 7.5 times more African-American-owned businesses in Georgia than Colorado.

“Small businesses in this community had valid contracts relating to the All-Star Game and other events, the result of two years of planning and all that was ripped away by fear and misinformation spewed by political activists,” Ortiz said. Many states, including Colorado where the game has been moved to, have similar or more restrictive election laws. This move essentially tells fans of teams in many other cities that they can never again host the All-Star Game; it’s hypocritical, illegal and we won’t stand for it.”

This is a good move for Major League Baseball and the people of Atlanta. Our Republic depends upon freedom-loving people taking full advantage of the system of checks and balances we have been given, and this includes taking businesses and politicians to court.

Psalm of the Day: Africa

“Can a woman forget her nursing child,

that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?

Even these may forget,

yet I will not forget you.

Is. 49:16 Behold, oI have engraved you on the palms of my hands;

your walls are continually before me.”
