CrossPolitic and Faithwire are teaming up to stream live on Facebook Sunday nights at 7pm Pacific time. Tune in here at 7pm PAC time tonight! Don’t worry if you miss us live, you’ll still be able to download the show on your favorite podcast platform. Also, you can tune in and watch us on Direct TV Friday nights at 8:30pm Pacific time on NRBTV channel.
A couple housekeeping items:
First, we are working on building CrossPolitic into a network, and so our Club members are huge for us as we desire to utilize CrossPolitic to engage the world, for God’s glory and the Church’s good. CRTV and Glenn Beck have over 100,000 club members, and with your help, we think we can do better. So please consider joining our club, and partnering with us to fulfill this mission. Club members get to download our Worldview Shotgun Series for free,10% off of our in store merch, and more.
Secondly, here is our Amazon Wishlist for those who have been asking. Thanks for your help, and for sending much-needed equipment our way.
Lastly, we want to fight laugh and feast engaging in politics, business, sports, theology, food, recreation, and more. So over the next month or so, we will be adding a couple more shows to our podcast. We now have How to Build a Tent, which is hosted by business consultant Matt Williams. His show will be dropping 15 minute shows daily, on topics regarding christians and business. Just this past month we added Law and Profits, which is hosted by Marcus Pittman. This show will drop every Friday. Finally, we are added Westminster Confession of Funk hosted byJason Farley.
Enjoy the network!
Recently LivingOut.org created a church audit that helps asses if your church is an inclusive church to LGBTQI+/ Christians. Pastor Sumpter wrote two responses to this audit. The first is LivingOut’s Church Audit Dumpster Fire, and the second is Thinking OutLoud: A Revised Church Review for Ministering to Sexual Refugees. We break all this down in the show, so tune in and appreciate any feedback.
In CrossPolitic news we discuss California Assembly’s new bill to provide free abortion pills on public college campuses, a triggered contract for the University of Wisconsin’s literature classroom, and why the Pledge of Allegiance is problematic.
Upcoming events to note:
1) Gabriel will be traveling this fall to Tennessee, Seattle, Texas, Hawaii, and DC to meet with high schools, participate in various speaking engagements, and participate meetings.
2) Pastor Toby will mostly likely be speaking at a church conference Minneapolis in November. Standby for details.
